The Great T.O.D.O. (aka The Offa's Dyke Ordeal)

Dear Reader,

This is to let you know about The Great TO DO, or The Offas Dyke Ordeal, taking place this year. This is a mad endurance test we have organised for charity. I am walking the Offas Dyke trail with three friends to raise money for Prostate Cancer Research.

The trek starts 7th June 2009 and finishes 12th June 2009, starting in Chepstow and ending in Prestatyn, the whole 178 miles in 6 days, covering at least 25 miles a day carrying everything needed for the trip. Quite a challenge I am sure you will agree but it is to raise money for a good cause.

I am writing this to ask if you will support me in this venture by "buying" a mile from me. I am selling the miles, all 178 of them for the bargain price of £10 each. When you buy your mile you will be allocated a mile at random from 1 to 178 and when it is completed you will receive a text message thank you to let you know it has been done.

As a supporter of our venture, your name will be posted on this website www.talesfromtherock.com that will also carry details of the trip. You will also be able to see photos of the route and keep up to date with the challenge on this site.

Please support this venture, if I sell all 178 miles that will raise an extra £1780 on top of any other sponsorship obtained. You can pay by cheque, postal order, cash, or by paypal to collier13@btinternet.com.
