Here's a selection of our favourite images capturing the cycling year in glorious colour. It's true that a picture speaks a thousand words, so if you have an image you'd like to share with club members, please email me@mountainbikegirl.com with a brief comment about where and when it was taken.

This year we've been lucky enough to have Joolze Dymond as official team photographer, snapping the team in action at the main events. The rest of Joolze's pictures, along with a few others, can be seen by selecting the event from the menu below.

Full resolution copies of all Joolze's pictures are available to purchase from Joolze Dymond's website.

Dusk til Dawn mens pairs podium

Luke Moseley and Ben Dale take first place in the mens pairs at Dusk 'til Dawn. After hammering out 15 laps of the 12 mile course, you could hear the moans and groans as the stiffness set in and they bent down to pick up their trophies. [Photo by MTB Girl]

Poor GibboGibbo showing off his sponsors at Sherwood

Paul Gibbons sheds a tear simply for arriving safely at Newnham Park, Plymouth for the National Champs. Paul bravely battled through the floods sweeping the country, driving through knee high flood water to get out of Ludlow, to arrive at the venue just half an hour before his race! The blazing sunshine and dry, dusty trails soon cheered him up again though. Jan obviously found her husbands emotional state highly amusing... [Photos courtesy of Joolze Dymond]

Warren and Tracy Miles finish smiling despite the muddy conditions

Tracy's determination to ride through the horrific conditions lead to a great third place and was greeted by BBC1's Countryfile for an interview at the end of her race. Finishing off the team effort with his last lap, Warren was happy to see Tracy back in one piece and to see her complete the 2nd leg of her mammoth challenge to ride three 24hour races in 8 weeks. Joolze captured the moment as always. [Photo courtesy of Joolze Dymond]

Paula and Luke Moseley post-race smiles after Thetford
